The THS Tools
Group was formed in 1975 by Ken Yarker as a non-profit making
organisation beginning with five forward thinking, independent
dealers in an attempt to benefit from collective purchasing
negotiation. Now, 35 years later the Group has grown into a network
of nearly 140 distribution outlets and over 180 leading brand
Suppliers. With its highly experienced sourcing and distribution
specialists, the THS Tools Group has developed into much more
than an effective industrial buying group.
The main strategy behind THS allows each of its Members to
maintain their total independence, capitalise on their established
reputation and utilise their local knowledge, whilst
having the ability to compete with national distributors on
price via THS' buying power. Effective commercial terms with
leading brand and key product suppliers, provides a level playing
field for Members where they can differentiate their offer in terms
of product availability and exceptional customer service.
Additionally, with outlets all over the UK, THS Distributor Members
provide nationwide coverage to end-user customers.
