New Unique Fencing Pliers Launched by Rapid

Rapid, stapling manufacturer and supplier of quality fixing tools in the professional and DIY hardware markets, has launched its first range aimed at the garden and horticulture markets.

The Rapid Smartgardener Fence Pliers are designed as a fastening system for all types of link-wire fencing for both domestic and commercial gardens, horticultural premises, commercial sites or anywhere you need to fence off an area.

There is a choice of three Rapid Smartgardener Fence Pliers:

FP20: the basic tool using single fixings in both standard and heavy duty Rapid Fence Rings
FP216: multi-action, light strong and fast fixing, with a magazine that loads up to 60 Rapid standard duty Fence Rings.
FP222: multi-action, light strong and fast fixing, with a magazine that loads up to 60 Rapid heavy duty Fence Rings.

Using its stapling technology, Isaberg Rapid AB, manufacturers of the Rapid brand, has devised the Smartgardener fixing system to work by using specially designed fence “hog” rings which are quick and easy to use. Simply load the hog into the Rapid fence plier, place the mouth of the loaded plier over the wire link and tension wire and squeeze; this closes the special fence hog ring around the wires for a strong fixing. Just repeat the action to complete the link wire fence enclosure - the system works equally well with either loose link or welded link wire fencing.

Both standard and heavy-duty Rapid Smartgardener Fence Hog Rings are produced in three types – Heavy Galvanized finish, Green Coated and Stainless Steel, and are available in blister packs for retail display. In addition the Heavy Galvanized and Green Coated Fence Hog Rings can be sold in Pro-Pack boxes. All tools are presented in hanging display packs and the whole system is backed up with in-store point of sale graphically illustrating how it works.
