Universal Drilling & Cutting Ltd has launched a powerful new portable dry-cutting saw...The Ripsnorter!

Producing the fastest and cleanest burr-free cuts in a wide variety of metals, including stainless steel. Dry cutting with no heat and no sparks for maximum site safety and without distortion or discolouration of the workpiece.

With a laser guided 230mm (9") diameter blade and a 2700rpm motor, the Ripsnorter is capable of cutting mild steel plate or bar up to 13mm (1/2") thick and tube or angle up to a maximum of 82.5mm (3.25"). There’s also the facility for angled cutting up to 45º.

The special Ripsnorter tungsten carbide tipped blades feature a higher density of teeth than some other types of blade, providing greater cutting capacity, faster cutting time and longer life between sharpenings. Available in a range of tooth pitches to suit mild & stainless steels and aluminium, these dry cutting blades also generate minimum friction so there’s almost no discolouration of the material being cut.

The Ripsnorter offers tremendous value in clean, fast and accurate cutting technology for use on site or in the workshop.
