High Temperature Update

28 July 2006
RUST-OLEUM® has brought out a restyled line of heat-resistant spray paints as part of the HARD HAT® industrial aerosol series.

A new high temperature aluminium has been added to the assortment, withstanding temperatures up to 600°C, with short term peaks to even 750°C. This product is typically being used on engines, vents, heat cannons, steam pipes and numerous other aluminium coloured objects that are subject to heat.  It can be applied directly onto bare metal or slightly rusty surfaces and it dries to touch within the hour.

For years, the company has brought to market the BBQ-black aerosol, communicating a temperature resistance up to 535°C.  In fact it also resists 600°C (as well as peaks up to 750°C.), therefore, the packaging has been restyled to now clearly communicate as such.

The new packaging is part of a complete restyling programme of the HARD HAT® aerosol range of products which will be rolled out over the months to come.  It includes better communicating appearance as well as easy to understand literature for end users.

THS Members will soon receive complete information about the upcoming developments.
