A Breakthrough in Completely Metal Free Foot Protection

Progressive Safety has introduced four new styles to their PSF Terrain range of safety footwear. This non-metal toecap footwear is proving increasingly popular, due to its lighter weight, and the increase in security measures across all areas of industry and commerce.

The new NMP styles have a non-metal composite toecap and a non-metal composite midsole, which covers the whole footbed giving complete protection to all wearers. The four styles comprise of a black smooth leather 6” boot, a black chukka boot, a black shoe and a brown rigger boot and all styles are available in unisex sizes 3-13. The footwear has a dual density polyurethane sole and is antistatic. It is also extremely lightweight, thus giving added comfort to the wearer.

This footwear is ideal for personnel working in areas where security screening is a necessity and where a protective midsole is mandatory. It is of particular interest to companies who have personnel working on sites where new airport terminals are under construction.

Non-metallic footwear is also increasingly being used in the logistics industry, where small but valuable metal products are stored and dispatched.
