30th Annual Exhibition

The THS Tools Group 30th Annual Exhibition was held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, NEC on Wednesday 11th October 2006.

Established in 1975, the THS Tools Group is now the UK’s largest buying group for independent distributors supplying a complete range of leading brand products to industry & tradesman and all offering personal service and support. We work in partnership with the world’s leading brand and key product suppliers and manufacturers to source the best products at the most competitive prices to ensure that THS Member companies can focus on stock availability and deliver exceptional customer service levels to their end-user customers.

The Annual Exhibition is the most important event in the THS Calendar Year as it provides a platform for Approved Suppliers to the Group to exhibit and showcase new products and, most importantly, meet and interface with Members under one roof.

This year 115 Suppliers exhibited and Members travelled nationwide to support the event and were able to take advantage of some fantastic promotional offers and incentives available on the day.

John Parkin, Managing Director comments: “For most Suppliers, it’s not all about taking orders, it’s the interaction between Suppliers and Members and the opportunity to discuss future business and exchange views on industry and the market place in general. However, this year, more orders were taken on the day than ever before”.

Following the Exhibition Dinner, the Annual Supplier of the Year Awards were presented with Draper Tools Limited winning the accolade of “Overall Supplier of the Year 2006” – congratulations!

Finally, thank you to Brian and his Team from Tool Business + Hire who were in attendance throughout the event.
